I saw this set of Simpson's baseball players and had to buy
them. I had a Santa ornament dressed in an old Cleveland Indians
uniform. Putting them in my 1940's baseball "Batting Practice"
Arcade game from Playland at the Beach. (a fabulous amusement
park at the beach in San Francisco, torn down in the early 70's)
The game was made in Brooklyn, NY and has an Ebbetts Field feeling.
(Check out the green players made of marbled India rubber, with
their old time caps and gloves). I love combining the charm
of the old days with modern pieces. This was one of my first
digital images.
