CARLOS SANTANA
Winterland, 1974
This shoot started my career as a music photographer. Carlos'
late bass player Doug Roche and I became friends and he invited
me as his guest to Winterland New Years Eve. I was a young kid and jacked
to walk up to the box office and say "Pat Johnson plus one". I didn't believe
my name would be on the list, but it was. I took this and other shots to
give to Doug as a thank you. Thank You, Doug!
